ANDOVER — Want to help the town keep its conservation land pristine?

The town's conservation overseers are holding their annual meeting tonight at Memorial Hall Library.

The overseers maintain the town's more than 2,000 acres of open space managed by the Conservation Commission. The meeting will highlight the work of overseers, with presentations by members of the commission.

"One of the great things about living in Andover is the town's commitment to enhancing its citizens' quality of life through the protection of open space," said Conservation Commissioner Gail Ralston, the group's overseer coordinator.

Information will be available on conservation parcels not currently assigned to an overseer, as well as application packets describing duties.

People will discuss ways of enforcing the rules and regulations for conservation land. A special presentation on "Living with the Beavers in Massachusetts" will be shown.

The meeting runs from 7 to 9 p.m.
