Parents continue to want addition of advanced math

ANDOVER - Call it the $64,000 question. The School Committee will decide tonight whether to spend that amount on new math textbooks that some parents hope will start making middle school math classes more challenging.

It's been three years since the Andover School District discontinued its advanced math classes for middle school students. Since then, many parents have criticized the new program - which teaches students of all levels in the same classrooms - but the schools have stuck by the decision.Read this article in full with a
