Middle School math plan leaves some unhappy

ANDOVER - Debbie Begos said she is tired of hearing her son talk about doing his homework in math class - sometimes he even plays games - while the teacher is repeating a lesson with other children.

She was disappointed Andover's newest middle-school math plan does not create different levels of classes. Many parents have been lobbying for the middle schools to offer an advanced math class for students who excel at the subject, along with classes for students of other ability levels.Read this article in full with a
