June 25, 2008 12:04 am METHUEN — Police have identified the body found Friday afternoon on the city's east side as that of a 28-year-old Tewksbury woman who they believe may have lived in Methuen. The death appears to be a suicide, investigators said. "No foul play is suspected," said Steve O'Connell, spokesman for the Essex district attorney's office. The body was discovered by a hitchhiker near the Independence Drive area, who called police to the scene, investigators said. The Eagle-Tribune does not identify victims of suicide.
