Electronics equipment missing

HAVERHILL — An amplifier and other stereo equipment was stolen from a storage area at a Washington Street apartment, police said.

Police were called to 258 Washington St. about 9:19 p.m. Tuesday, where they met with the tenant whose storage area was broken into.

The victim told police she found the window in the door to her storage area on the ground, and noticed the items were missing when she checked inside.

Police said they are investigating.

Theft: 11 Davenport St., 1:03 p.m.

Disturbance: 20 Arlington St., 1:42 p.m.

Disturbance: 108 Main St., 2:15 p.m.

Car crash: 11th Avenue, under investigation, 2:53 p.m.

Disturbance: 84 Harrison St., 3:29 p.m.

Car crash: 14 Forest Acres Drive, under investigation, 6:08 p.m.

Disturbance: 8 Victoria Court, 8:34 p.m.

Noise complaint: 22 Gilbert Ave., 8:52 p.m.

Burglary: 258 Washington St., 9:19 p.m.

Disturbance: 26 Temple St., 9:37 p.m.

Arrest: Joel Matias, 21, 39 North St., assault and battery on a police officer, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, White and Cedar streets, 9:43 p.m.

Loud music: 451 Washington St., 11:33 p.m.
