The 20th annual Cycle For Shelter Bike-A-Thon to benefit Emmaus Inc. will take place at Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill. Cyclists choose from 26-, 62-, or 100-mile fully supported routes with points along the Merrimack River and New Hampshire seacoast and northern Essex County. There will be a delicious cookout, complimentary massages and shower facilities at the finish line. Check-in for the 100-mile is at 6 a.m., with opening ceremonies and start at 7 a.m.; check-in for the 62-mile is at 7 a.m., with opening ceremonies and start at 8 a.m.; check-in for the 27-mile is at 8:30 a.m., with opening ceremonies and start at 9 a.m. Emmaus counts on the money raised from Cycle for Shelter to provide life-saving services to homeless children and adults.
