Vehicles damaged in Haverhill

HAVERHILL — Two vehicles were damaged and property was stolen from two others during the weekend, police said.

The owner of a 2008 Honda CR-V told police the vehicle was parked across the street from her Beach Street residence Saturday night and when she went to the vehicle Sunday, she found the driver's side front quarter dented.

Police said the driver's side window of a 2002 Dodge Dakota pickup truck was smashed while it was parked at the owner's home on Jaffarian Road. The owner told police one of his neighbors noticed the damage Sunday morning. Nothing was taken from the truck, police said.

A prowler took the stereo faceplate from a 1999 Chrysler Sebring, and four packs of cigarettes from a Ford F-150 pickup truck, police said. Those two vehicles and two others that were not touched, were parked at their owners' Rosemont Street home.

One of the residents told police he was awakened by his dogs' barking and noticed the motion sensor light was on, but saw nothing out of the ordinary.

He told police when his daughter went to her car about 7 a.m. Sunday, she discovered the faceplate to her car stereo missing.

That incident was reported at 3:49 p.m., police said.

Arrest: Luis Quintana, 19, 26 Brown St., Methuen, unarmed robbery, Winter and Cottage streets, 7:30 a.m.

Arrest: Davion Anderson, 25, 5 Phillips St., Methuen, unarmed robbery, intimidation of a witness, possession of marijuana, Winter and Cottage streets, 7:30 a.m.

Arrest: A 16-year-old Haverhill boy, driving without a license, Nichols Street, 9:20 p.m.

Arrest: Jorge Santiago, 51, 25 Dudley St., assault and battery on a household member, 25 Dudley St., 11:18 p.m.
