LAWRENCE — An assortment of jewelry was stolen during a break into a Ridge Road home, police said.

Officer Jeffrey Sapienza was sent to the address about 8:30 p.m. Thursday after the owners returned home and discovered the break-in.

The owners told Sapienza they returned home about 8:30 p.m. and noticed a second-floor window was wide open, as was a living room window.

When the owners began to look around they found jewelry boxes in every bedroom had been opened and some jewelry was missing and some was not.

Sapienza searched the house to make sure no one was inside.

Among the items taken were an antique bracelet, gold earrings, pearl earrings, a gold bracelet, an Aiwa stereo system, a gold Seiko watch, 10 Swatch watches, and an assortment of rings, police said.
