What do you get when you find a not-so-friendly ghost, a Jack-o'-lantern, and flying bats?

Twelve lucky area residents received four packs of tickets to Spooky World at Canobie Lake Park in Salem, N.H. They were selected after finding the ghost, pumpkin and bats inside the newspaper and mailing their entries to The Eagle-Tribune's Hidden Hauntings contest.

The contest started Sept. 29 and took in 3,692 entries. The first week saw 543 entries. Interest piqued every subsequent week with 1,464 entries the second week. The third week there were 1,015 participants and 670 responded the fourth week.

Here are the winners:

Week one: Danny Connelly of North Andover, Kerry Ann Morency of Derry, N.H. and Felicia Siggens of Methuen.

Week two: Sergei Kirilin of Salem, N.H., Tina Augusta of Lawrence, and Cathy Gable of Methuen.

Week three: Deborah Costa of Haverhill, Daisha Jean Leclerc of Methuen and Taryn Donnelly of Pelham, N.H.

Week four: Kim Cesati of Bradford, Laura Kelly of Salem, N.H. and Maria Chiacchio of Haverhill.
