Pet photos with Santa to benefit MSPCA

METHUEN — The Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is offering pet photos with Santa on Saturdays, Dec. 6 and Dec. 13.

Santa will be stopping by the Small Animal Shelter at Nevins Farm, 400 Broadway, from noon to 4 p.m.

The donation is $10 per photo, and pet owners may also order prints, mugs, T-shirts and other merchandise in time for holiday giving. Proceeds will benefit Nevins Farm.

Dogs, cats and other pets, all on a leash or in a crate, are welcome to sit with Santa.

Go bargain-hunting with Mr. Claus

LAWRENCE — Still shopping for Christmas or just love to bargain hunt? The Wetherbee School might have just what you're searching for.

The school, 75 Newton St., is holding a huge yard sale in the gym on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

And, since it is the holiday season, Santa Claus will be at the breakfast to greet the children.

Craft items and goodies will also be featured.

Snowflake Dance for first-graders and dads

NORTH ANDOVER — Fathers will dance with their daughters at the Snowflake Dance on Saturday.

The dance is a semi-formal for first graders only.

Presented by the Trinitarian Congregational Church, the dance will be from 5 to 7 p.m. at the church, 72 Elm St.

Tickets are $25 a pair and limited to 60 couples.

Won't you be Santa's helper

METHUEN — Foster Kids of the Merrimack Valley is seeking to anonymously match Santa's Helpers — individuals or groups from the community — with one or more foster children to help fulfill their Christmas wish lists by Saturday.
