GROVELAND — Voters chose Laurel Puchalski, Jennifer Jones and Beth Lewandowski to be trustees of the town's Langley-Adams Library.

No one officially ran for the positions, so there were three write-in spaces on this week's ballot.

Puchalski had 25 votes, Jones had 15 and Lewandowski had eight.

"They had talked about running and talked to some friends who voted for them," Town Clerk Anne Brodie said about how they were elected without running.

Brodie said there had been a few other names on the ballot, but they each only had one or two votes.

The library trustee term is three years.
