Yard sale items taken from Haverhill porch

HAVERHILL — A woman collecting items for a yard sale told police an air conditioner, television and other items were taken from the front porch of her Main Street home.

The woman told police she had left her home May 8 at 9 a.m. and returned at 7 p.m., when she noticed the television and air conditioner missing.

She told police she had left her home on the previous Saturday and Sunday, and returned to find a bird cage and lounge chair cushions had been taken.

The items had been collected from her home and from her neighbors' homes, the woman said.

She told police the person who took the items might be having their own yard sale.

The thefts were reported at 8:43 a.m. Tuesday, police said.

Disturbance: 53 Hunters Run Place, noise reported, 12:04 a.m.

Arrest: Melissa Sullivan, 24, 514 N. End Blvd., Salisbury, driving while under the influence of alcohol, 252 Mill St., 12:30 a.m.

Noise complaint: 51/2 Ford St., loud music, 1:33 a.m.

Arrest: Andrew Hart, 22, 2 Tyler Ave., assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, malicious destruction of property, threatening to commit a crime, 2 Tyler Ave., 2:15 a.m.

Theft: 187 Neck Road, property taken, 10:13 a.m.

Vandalism: 528 Hadley West Drive, car damaged, 2:14 p.m.

Theft: 55 S. Kimball St., property taken, 3:03 p.m.

Break: 18 Bellevue Ave., car broken into, 3:51 p.m.

Theft: 261 River St., property taken, 4 p.m.

Break: 66 Pecker St., building broken into, 4:40 p.m.

Disturbance: 27 Blaisdell St., noise reported, 6:08 p.m.

Disturbance: Gilbert Avenue and Washington Street, noise reported, 6:52 p.m.

Disturbance: 4 S. Kimball St., noise reported, 10:16 p.m.
