HAVERHILL — Thieves broke into a 2005 Toyota Scion parked on the upper level of the parking deck and stole small electronic items, police said.

The owner of the Scion called police at 4:57 p.m. Thursday to report the break and theft. An iPod personal stereo, valued at $450, and a Garmin GPS, valued at $450, were stolen, police said.

The victim told police he had parked the car at 9 a.m., and discovered the damage when he returned to it. He reported seeing four kids on bicycles in the area about 30 minutes earlier, but could not give a description.
