Sal's Pizza donates to Hospice House

Sal Lupoli, president/CEO of Sal's Pizza, Salvatore's Restaurants and Riverwalk Properties, has donated $5,000 to the Merrimack Valley Hospice House.

Located at 360 North Ave. in Haverhill, the 14-suite hospice house opened in June and was designed to allow terminally ill patients — both children and adults and their families — to live together in a woodland setting. It is one of only six licensed hospice houses in the state that offers 24-hour care, and is the only facility of its kind licensed to care for children.

Donations and contributions to support the hospice house are still being accepted. Donor-inscribed bricks that will form a Remembrance Walkway at the front of the hospice house are available. More information and donation information is available by calling Victoria Kelley at 978-552-4162.
