Castle hosts events in Haverhill

Today is Tots n' Tykes Tuesday at Winnekenni Castle.

Starting at 10 a.m., children can take part in outdoor activities and crafts, including a kiddie sprinkler if it is hot. Children are asked to bring their bathing suits and towels. The KLS Magic Castle Puppet Theatre will perform at 11 a.m. Older siblings are welcome to enjoy the show and activities. Snacks and refreshments are included. Cost is $5 per child. A psychic lecture and workshop will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. The featured guest is psychic Marie Carew, who will lecture on "Psychic Development Through Living a Humanitarian Lifestyle." Participants are asked to bring notebooks and writing instruments. Marie Carew's sister Irma Carew is her personal scribe. She is a psychic empath.

Admission is $30 per person in advance or $35 at the door. Refreshments will be available. Reservations can be made online at www.winnekenni.com.

A Knights Party for Kids will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. Admission is $15 per child and includes refreshments as well as fun and games on the castle's grounds, and a photo opportunity with the castle's resident knight overseer. Costumes are encouraged, but are not required. Adult refreshments will be available for purchase. Tuesday is movie night

Tonight's Tuesday family outdoor movie is "Gremlins," rated PG.

It will be shown at 8:30 p.m. in Columbus Park. Summer movie night in Haverhill is sponsored by England's MicroCreamery, Essex Street Grille, Trattoria Al Forno, Maria's Family Restaurant and Krueger Flatbreads. The film will be projected onto a temporary screen.

The audience may lounge on the lawn to enjoy the show. Admission is free.

Online auction has begun

Haverhill Senior Baseball's second annual online auction began yesterday.

The organization is accepting donations of event tickets as well as goods and services that can be added to the list of auction items.
