GROVELAND — Painters, wood crafters, quilters, jewelry makers, potters and others will be selling their goods at Veasey Memorial Park on Saturday.
The park is having its third annual Fine Craft and Artisan Fair. The event runs from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and is followed by a free town concert from 5 to 8 p.m.
"This is not your average craft fair," said park events manager Megan Whithed. "We have a beautiful setting, food, a concert and we are definitely showcasing artisans."
All the vendors are local people. Whithed said the vendors are from Georgetown, Manchester, N.H., Lowell and other communities.
For the first two years, the fair was held in March, but it was changed to July so that it could take place outdoors.
"We wanted at least part of it out doors because the grounds are so beautiful," said Whithed.
The fair is a fundraiser.
"We are town owned, but we still need to fund our own maintenance, improvements and general expenses," she said.
Boy Scout Troop 87 will hold its own fundraiser during the fair. Scouts will sell hot dogs and hamburgers to people attending the fair or concert.
The Adam Mendonca Band will open the concert, and the main act is The Carla Ryder Band.
