Police log: Debit card, cash stolen from ATM

HAVERHILL SEmD A debit card left in the ATM at the Sovereign Bank on Main Street cost its owner $100, police said.

The victim told police she stopped at the bank about 11 a.m. Wednesday and discovered a short time after leaving she had left her debit card in the machine.

When she returned to the bank to look for the card it was gone, and bank officials told her $100 had been withdrawn from her account during the time the card was left at the bank.

The victim was told to file a report with police in order to get reimbursed by the bank.

The theft was reported at 11:47 a.m. Wednesday, police said.

Arrest: Angela Hills, 18, 671 Primrose St., assault and battery on a household member, 671 Primrose St., 2:10 p.m.

Disturbance: Washington Street, noise reported, 3:12 p.m.

Car crash: 42 Washington St., under investigation, 3:17 p.m.

Car crash: Water and Mechanic streets, under investigation, 4:09 p.m.

Disturbance: 38 Harrison St., noise reported, 5:44 p.m.

Noise complaint: 68 Bellevue Ave., loud music, 6:26 p.m.

Disturbance: 75 Temple St., noise reported, 6:49 p.m.

Vandalism: 11 Upland Ave., car damaged, 7:30 p.m.

Disturbance: 174 Winter St., noise reported, 8:18 p.m.

Disturbance: Portland and Winter streets, noise reported, 9:14 p.m.

Vandalism: 12 Whitcomb St., car damaged, 9:52 p.m.

Theft: 85 Blaisdell St., car taken, 10 p.m.

Disturbance: 25 Freeman St., noise reported, 10:58 p.m.

Noise complaint: 29 Hilldale Ave., loud music, 11:51 p.m.
