Team Haverhill's Public Art Committee is seeking proposals from artists to create a local, high quality outdoor mural for the Haverhill YMCA for next spring. The goal is to create a mural to enhance, educate and depict the YMCA's heritage. The mural's composition should entail past member photos as well as past events that reflect the YMCA's role in Haverhill's citizen and community development. The target audience is YMCA members and the general public of all ages and backgrounds. This project would require a professional artist to create a large mural while providing hands-on instruction to student assistants enrolled in the YMCA's After School Program.
