Haverhill people in the news

Daniel Sherman of Haverhill has earned dean's list recognition for the summer 2008 semester at Wentworth Institute of Technology.



Andrew M. Therriault, son of Donna and Michael Therriault of Haverhill, received his master of arts degree in politics from New York University. Therriault is currently continuing his studies at NYU in the pursuit of a PhD in the same field. He is a graduate of Governor Dummer Academy and New York University.



Simmie Issenberg of Haverhill will volunteer in Kenya for two weeks this December with the Global Volunteer Network to work on various humanitarian projects in disadvantaged communities. Issenberg will work with local organizations on projects such as teaching AIDS/HIV awareness, caring for orphaned children, teaching in local schools and working alongside the Maasai tribe to increase access to basic health care and promote health education in the community.



Katelyn Arnone was initiated into the new Endicott Chapter of Sigma Beta Delta, a nationally recognized honor society for students in the field of business, management, and administration. Arnone is a senior. She is the daughter of David and Karen Arnone of Groveland.



Casey Moran was initiated into Psi Chi, the nationally recognized honor society for students in the field of psychology, at Endicott College. Moran is a senior. He is the son of John and Susan Moran of Bradford.
