Members of the Windham Garden Club were redesigning the island at the Lowell and Cobbetts Pond Road intersection on Thursday morning. They dug up old shrubs that were starting to block the view of traffic, and planted new flowers such as poppies, shasta daisies, day lilies and coleus.
