CONCORD, N.H. (AP) | An arrest warrant has been issued for an Epping woman authorities say killed a 24-year-old man and burned his body.
The warrant accuses Sheila LaBarre, 47, of first-degree murder in the death of Kenneth Countie, who recently moved to New Hampshire from Wilmington, Mass., and had been living with LaBarre for several weeks.
Countie was last seen in Epping on March 17 and he was reported missing March 23.
Officials say LaBarre killed Countie around March 21 in Epping, then incinerated his body.
Authorities say they don't know where LaBarre is and believe she may have changed her hair color to avoid detection. They described her as 5 feet 6 inches tall, about 150 to 160 pounds, with brown eyes and blond hair with brown roots.
Officials said they don't believe LaBarre has a vehicle, but does has a significant amount of cash.
