BRENTWOOD (AP) — Four more jurors were selected yesterday in the murder trial of Sheila LaBarre.
Fourteen have now been chosen, nine women and five men. The court will select 18 jurors to hear the case. Jury selection hearings are to continue this morning and possibly into next week.
LaBarre has admitted killing 24-year-old Kenneth Countie, formerly of Wilmington, Mass., in March 2006. She also admitted to the killing of Michael Deloge, whose parents hadn't heard from him since 2004.
She has pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity.
Throughout jury selection, those called have been asked to provide their own definition of "insane" and describe their feelings toward the concept of pleading insanity.
