NH man charged with assaulting 8-year-old

NASHUA, N.H. (AP) — A Nashua, N.H., man has been charged with sexually assaulting an 8-year-old child and exposing other children to a pornographic movie and images.

Police say 53-year-old Jose Trinidad Carbajal was charged with aggravated felonious sexual assault, which carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison, and four misdemeanor counts of exposing minors to harmful materials. Police said the images were shown at his home to two neighborhood children, ages 8 and 11.

Carbajal was arraigned Monday.
