Pelham residents brave the elements to attend Old Home Day
PELHAM — A little rain wasn't enough to keep people from the town center for yesterday's annual Old Home Day celebration.
The day started with a road race, followed by an auction, a community yard sale and a doll and bike parade. There were also children's games, raffle drawings, food and craft booths, and a magic show.
Throughout the day, residents were encouraged to donate to the St. Patrick Parish food pantry. The day wrapped up with a pie contest and a chicken barbecue last night.
