SALEM — A Newburyport, Mass., woman charged with stealing $2,000 worth of clothing from her employer landed in more trouble after she was arrested by police.

Police said they found that Rachel Brook, 27, had a small quantity of cocaine on her while she was being arrested on charges of stealing clothes from her employer, Abercrombie & Fitch. Loss prevention officers at the Mall at Rockingham Park called police to the store around 5:30 p.m. Monday.

Both charges are class B felonies, each punishable by three and a half to seven years in state prison. Brook is being held at the Rockingham County jail on $2,000 cash bail.
