SANDOWN — A 19-year-old Danville resident was arrested Tuesday by Sandown police, and Chief Joseph Gordon said he believes more arrests will follow.

Michael Blaney was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property, specifically, car parts, Gordon said.

"This was part of a multi-jurisdictional investigation and we hope further arrests will follow," Gordon said yesterday.

He said Blaney had been investigated in relation to car thefts and was charged for the car parts he had in his possession.

He said Sandown police have been working with a half-dozen other agencies in New Hampshire and Massachusetts.

Blaney was released on $5,000 personal recognizance and will be arraigned in Derry District Court on Dec. 16.
