Asphalt truck accident closes Route 102

LONDONDERRY — A section of Route 102 West near the Interstate 93 off-ramp has been closed due to an accident.

A Continental Paving truck tipped over onto its side. It has an 8,000-gallon asphalt tank, which is leaking at a rate of one gallon a minute.

State and local police are on the scene, and the state Department of Environmental Services has been notified.

No injuries have been reported at this time. Crews shut down part of the road shortly after 11:30 a.m.
