Pet of the Week

Batik is a 1-year-old Tortoiseshell cat with unusual markings.

She at one time had a home, but was left behind to fend for herself. She came to the Salem Animal Rescue League as a stray. She is quiet, warm and gentle and deserves a loving and stable home. She is the perfect lap cat.

SARL is located behind Baron's Appliance on Route 28 in Salem. Adoption hours are Thursday, from noon to 7 p.m., and Friday through Sunday, from noon to 4 p.m.
