Letter: School budget as bad as our federal mess
To the editor:
I hope that Methuen Superintendent Jeanne Whitten is a better weatherperson than a budget analyst. With the budget that she created, she should run for office. She gave us something that is as bad as the state and federal elected officials give us on a consistent basis.
As for those in charge of the teachers' union, I pray that they teach democratic values better than they gave the teachers. Not being given the chance to vote makes me wonder if this took place in the USA or in China. Hopefully, the students will get better opportunities than those teaching them were given.
