May 05, 2008 03:20 am MANCHESTER — The Manchester Wolves dropped their fourth game in a row, falling to the expasion Daytona Beach ThunderBirds 56-42. It was the first win in frachise history for the ThunderBirds. Making his first start of the season in place of injured quarterback Brian Jones, James Pinkney completed 13 passes for 212 yards and four touchdowns. But, with Manchester facing first-and-goal from the Daytona Beach 6-yard line in the final seconds, Pinkney's pass intended for Emery Sammons was picked off in the end zone by Jacques Richardson and run back for the ThunderBirds final score. Daytona Beach quarterback Matt Bohnet had a banner day, completing 30 throws for 303 yards and four touchdowns while tacking on another two rushing touchdowns.
