Methuen's Andrew Grange won the 400 dash for a second straight season, running a 47.52. Cory Murray, also of Methuen, placed third in the shot put with a 50-83/4. ... Merrimack College midfielders Laruen Leddy and Kelly Pasquantonio were named to the Northeast-10 All-Conference First Team. Pasquantonio scored a team-high 62 goals while Leddy contributed 25 assists. Warriors Mia Basile and Liz Lyons were named to the second team. ... Sara Giannansca set the Northern Essex Community College record in the 200 in 27.71 at the NJCAA Division 3 Northeast District meet over the weekend. Shane Lee placed fourth in the 100 in 11.08 and Haverhill's Carlos Olivera was sixth in the 400 (52.16) and 10th in the 200 with a personal-best 22.93. ... UMass Lowell's Lyra Clark won the 3,000 at the Northeast-10 Women's Track and Field Championship, and earned the conference Freshman Athlete of the Year award.
