Baseball

Andover-North Andover YMCA T-Ball for ages 4-6 will have registration on May 27 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the YMCA at 165 Haverhill St. in Andover. For more information, contact Amy Quinlan at 978-786-3541. Coaches are also needed.

Methuen American Legion tryouts will be held Saturday, May 10 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Methuen High. For more information, contact Dave Mosher at 978-609-2895.

Haverhill's freshmen fell to Billerica, 6-5. Kevin Dempsey and Manny Vargas pitched well and Malcolm Novello was 2 for 4 at the plate.

Basketball

Andover-North Andover YMCA summer league registration for boys and girls entering grades 3-12 is May 14 and May 21 from 7-8 p.m. For more information contact Amy Quinlan at 978-786-3541. Coaches are also needed.

Soccer

Boxford Soccer Association tryouts will begin at 5:30 p.m.: U10 boys, June 20-21, Chadwick; U10 girls, June 20-21, Chadwick; U12 boys 1st year, June 1, Boy Scout Park; U12 boys 2nd year, June 6, Boy Scout Park; U12 girls 1st year, June 1, Chadwick; U12 girls 2nd year, June 6, Chadwick; U14 boys, May 31, Boy Scout Park; U14 girls, May 31 and June 7, Chadwick.

Summer Camps

M&M Sportz Camps will be holding camps for ages 5-7 this summer at St. Monica's in Methuen and the Neil Playstead, four-day softball camps starting June 30 at Northern Essex in Haverhill and July 8 in North Andover, one-day softball clinics June 27 at Northern Essex and July 7, 14, 21 and 28 and Aug. 4, 11, 18 and 25 at Neil Playstead in Methuen, and a basketball camp for ages 8-14 at St. Joseph's School in Haverhill the week of July 21.
