Georgetown wins 10-9 over Wilmington
David Laflamme fired a pass to James McGillicuddy, who beat the goalie and give Georgetown a 10-9 overtime victory over Wilmington. The Royals had previously allowed a seven-goal halftime lead slip away. Laflamme led the way with a hat trick and three assists while Joe Butera stood out in goal with 17 saves.

Olav Goulet's five goals and one assist helped lift Brooks past Lawrence Academy, 10-3. Ross Pierce added two goals for Brooks. Jimmy Campbell stood out on defense and contributed two assists and Nick Galanos made 13 saves.
Volleyball
Alves leads Hillies over Lowell
Freddie Alves notched 10 kills, three blocks and three aces as Haverhill pounded Lowell 25-12, 25-14, 25-14. Brett Pettis and Ash Lawless each notched seven kills while Justin Limoli dished out 14 assists for the Hillies.

Tom Gomes delivered 24 assists as Central Catholic downed archrival Andover 25-22, 25-18, 25-21. Freshman Jim Zenevitch had nine kills while Rory Blinn notched 11 kills, Adrian Gonzalez recorded 14 kills and Dan Leary had 18 digs for the Raiders (8-4).

Oiwake, Haverhill best Tewksbury
Yuri Oiwake won No. 1 singles to help Haverhill down Tewksbury 4-1. Carolyn Sall and Liz Barberio teamed to win No. 1 doubles for the Hillies.

Boyd, Swanson propel Pentucket
Jeff Boyd and Ryan Swanson took first and second singles to lead Pentucket past North Reading 3-2. The Hornets were led by Chris Spano and Dave Vollor, who took first doubles 6-3, 6-2.

Despite three goals from Shannon Hartford, Georgetown lost to Manchester Essex, 13-8. Emma Cannon was one of five Royals with a single goal.

Steve Lesiczka was 2 for 3 with a game-high three RBIs, but Haverhill fell to Lawrence 13-8. Sean Hayden added two hits for the Hillies while Juan Lluberas was 3 for 4 with a pair of runs for the Lancers.

Andover's Mike Palermo gave Phillips the lead with an RBI since in the second, and the Big Blue never looked back in an 8-1 win over Cushing Academy. North Andover's Bobby Farnham chipped in with an RBI triple for the winners.

Pomer, Whittier fall short
Emily Pomer notched two hits and drove in a run, but Whittier was edged by Northeast, 11-10. Kristina Terry and Danielle Ryan added a pair of hits and an RBI each for the Wildcats.

Tognoni's two wins vault Phillips
Phillips crushed Cushing, 96-42. Andover's Corbin Tognoni won both hurdles events, while Michael Bernieri threw the shot put and the discus for wins. Michael Donelan won the triple jump and the 200.
Girls Track
Dawkins, Phillips roll
Phillips cruised past Cushing 122-21. Alexis Dawkins won the long jump and 400. Nyab Khan added wins in the shot put and the discus.

UMass Lowell falls from playoff picture
UMass Lowell baseball fell to Pace, 7-1, eliminating the River Hawks from playoff contention. Anthony Santos notched two hits for Lowell.
