Pelham welcomed Jamie Vaiknoras back to the lineup from a shoulder injury. The senior, who hadn't played since the opener, slapped an RBI hit and dazzled at second base, helping the Pythons to a 7-6 win over Kearsarge.
Bryan Toupin mashed a two-run homer in the first and Corey Couillard drilled a pair of hits in the win.

Brendan Walsh struck out eight and went the distance to lead Central Catholic to a 7-1 victory over Methuen. The Raiders bounced back from Wednesday's 20-10 loss to Andover by playing errorless baseball.
Robbie Taylor went 2 for 3 and Andrew Guyer drove in a pair of runs. Jhiomar Veras drove in the Rangers' lone run.

Levesque shuts out Kearsarge
Amanda Levesque pitched a complete-game two-hitter and added three hits and an RBI as Pelham downed Kearsarge, 14-0. Kayla Bailey was 2 for 3 with four RBIs while Jacqui Perry drove in two runs on two hits and April Blinn notched two RBIs for the Pythons.
Greater Lowell edged Presentation of Mary 5-4. Joelle Bechara and Katie St. Peter each drove in a run.

Salem's Mulroney paces PMA
Presentation of Mary won all but one event and bested Greater Lawrence 110-21. The Panthers also beat Northeast, 96-39. Tori Hobson won the long jump, triple jump and 300 hurdles, Soleil Le took the 100 hurdles and Leah Mulroney won the two-mile for the Panthers.
Girls Tennis
Timberlane tumbles
Haley Gustafson and Katie Veasey won the top two singles matches, but the Timberlane girls, 7-2.
Boys Lacrosse
Pinkerton reigns over rival
Brian Estes scored five goals to help Pinkerton down archrival Londonderry, 18-6. Anthony Valentine scored four goals, Bobby Dattilo and Teagan Norris each had a hat trick, Nick Currier scored twice and Connor McCarthy tallied one. Justin Sproul notched four goals for the Lancers.

Lawrence swept Central Catholic 25-23, 25-18, 25-19. Jimmy Rojas had 15 kills, Jeffrey Matos finished with 14 kills and eight blocks and Ramon Heredia had six kills. Pat Guidi led the Raiders (8-5) with 19 service points and three aces.
