October 10, 2008 04:01 am Bill Burt's prediction: Sox in 7 I am sticking to my prediction that the Sox-Angels winner is going to win the World Series. I am picking the Red Sox because I believe Jon Lester will win both games he pitches and Josh Beckett will win at least one. That leaves Dice-K and the bullpen to pull out one more. The key to this series for the Red Sox is their hitting, not their pitching. It will come down Dustin Pedroia and David Ortiz picking it up a few notches. I believe the Red Sox will have to "win" this series. The Rays will not lay down and play dead like the Angels did. I expect a great series with the Red Sox outlasting the Rays in seven games.
