Ex-Seahawks Star Walter Jones Lists 'Bama Mansion, Complete With Football Field

- — Not many people have a regulation-sized football field with NFL standard goal posts in each end zone included on their property. But, if you're a nine-time Pro Bowl selection and six-time All-Pro NFL player, you do.

Meet Walter Jones, the former Seattle Seahawks' left tackle who broadcaster John Madden says "might be the best left tackle to ever play in the NFL."After Jones retired from football in 2010, he decamped to a 13,000-square foot mansion on 14 acres in Harvest, AL that comes with a full-sized football field in the backyard. According to reports, Jones moved into the home in 2005. Jones' home is on the Harvest real estate market for $3.5 million.

Walter Jones' homeincludes a lighted sport court and "sports house," as well as in-ground pool and pool house with TV area, bar and full bath. The 14-acre-plus property also has walking trails, gazebo, guest house and six-car garage.

Inside, the 8-bedroom, 12-bathroom house has over 13,000 square feet of living space. The home opens to an enormous two-story foyer with "J" logo inlaid into the floor, a granite staircase separating the living and family room as well as an elevator. Also included in the home is a movie theater, game room, and workout room. Each bedroom has its own bath and walk-in closets.

Custom-built in 2003, the house features a AMX Home Integration System that controls the home's lighting, sound and security systems.

The listing is held by agent Kathy Tyra of RE/MAX Alliance Huntsville
