RICHMOND, Va. — -Moises Sierra, Travis d'Arnaud and Mike McDade had RBI hits in a five-run sixth inning and the Fisher Cats moved to within one win of an Eastern League Championship with a 5-3 win over Richmond, last night at The Diamond in Virginia.
Wes Etheridge (1-0), the second of five New Hampshire pitchers, earned the win.
He came into a bases-loaded, one-out situation in the fifth and got Chris Dominguez to hit into an inning-ending double play to keep Richmond's lead at 1-0. Ron Uviedo, Clint Everts and Bobby Korecky finished off the win with Korecky's perfect ninth earning him his fourth save of the post-season.

Kevin Howard reached on a walk, and when the ball in the dirt got away, Diaz scored to make it 1-1. Another wild pitch allowed Gose to score. Moises Sierra doubled Howard home to make it 3-1. Travis d'Arnaud's double scored Sierra for a 4-1 lead and Mike McDade (2-for-3, RBI) followed with an RBI single.
