The righty allowed two unearned runs on four hits. He walked one and struck out four.
New Hampshire’s Dalton Pompey lead off the game with a triple to the gap in left center field and scored on a Matt Newman sacrifice fly for the game’s first run.
Now 50-56, the Fisher Cats continue the series in Harrisburg tonight at 6 p.m. New Hampshire returns home Thursday night to face Reading.
Lowell upends Hudson Valley
Joseph Monge had three hits and scored twice, helping the Lowell Spinners over Hudson Valley, 7-4, last night at LeLacheur Park. The teams meet again tonight at 5 p.m. in Lowell.
