Slepian: 8 3-pointers!
Ben Slepian had a night to remember to spark Salem to an impressive 73-51 victory over Bishop Guertin. Slepian hit eight 3-pointers (one off the school record) and was 7-for-7 in the first half when he scored 27 of his game-high 32 points and outscored BG by himself.
"It was quite a performance," said Salem coach Rob McLaughlin.
Jonny Klecan had six assists in the first half and 11 for the game for the Blue Devils (15-6).
Pinkerton ended its regular season with its fifth straight win, 59-52 over Trinity. Chris Light led the Astros (13-5) with 18 points and Kevin Colbert added 14.
Jayde Dawson scored 23 points but Brooks could not recover from a six-point halftime deficit and fell to Beaver Country Day, 63-53, in the semifinals in the New England Prep School Class B tourney.
