Merrimack unveils Fenway jerseys

With the 2014 installment of Citi Frozen Fenway officially less than a month away, Merrimack College unveiled a new jersey to debut in the Warriors’ Frozen Fenway clash against Providence College on Jan. 4.

The special jersey features an all-gold primary color, with the Merrimack “MC” logo on both shoulders, four stripes at the bottom of the torso and ends of the shoulders, and the cursive “Warriors” written across the chest, to resemble a retro baseball jersey.

“We could not be more excited to be a part of Citi Frozen Fenway 2014, and the unveiling of our retro jerseys will certainly add to the entire experience,” head coach Mark Dennehy said.

“Our entire program could not be more pleased with the end result of the new jersey, and I know our student-athletes can’t wait to get out on the ice with them. We hope to see many, many more just like these up in the stands cheering us on against Providence.”

Fans will have a limited opportunity to purchase the retro jerseys at the Merrimack College Bookstore located inside the Merrimack Athletic Complex.
