April 16: UNH senior Cameron Lyle of Plaistow sacrificed the final two meets of his career so he could donate bone marrow to help an anonymous 28-year-old with leukemia.
April 17: Joe Murach took off on an end-to-end rush in the third OT and scored to give Whittier a 7-6 win over Nashoba Tech.
April 18: Adam Dolan fired a 5-inning no-hitter as Windham beat Pelham 10-0.
April 22: Haverhill stunned 6-0 Tewksbury on Brett Johnson’s seventh inning walk-off double to score Susan Murphy.
April 26: Kristy Robertson netted 12 goals, lifting Haverhill over Dracut, 21-12.
April 27: Navy sophomore Adam Vetere of Andover cleared a school-record 17-3.5 to win the college pole vault at the Penn Relays.
April 27: UConn tight end Ryan Griffin of Londonderry was drafted in the sixth round (201st overall) by the Houston Texans.
April 29: Londonderry baseball scored 23 runs in the fourth inning and beat Nashua North 33-7.
