Methuen wrestlers top team at Rebel Classic

---- — DERRY — Surprising Methuen took first place in the middle school division Sunday at the 17th annual Rebel Classic held at Pinkerton Academy. Overall, 459 wrestlers representing all six New England states took part.

Methuen only had one champion, but it had six runners-up and three other of its wrestlers finished third.

Several wrestlers took part who wrestled in the Youth New England Tournament a week earlier at North Andover, including champions Tristen Cabinta of Salem and Henry Lagasse of Londonderry.
