'I Beat Burt' Week 5 contest winners announced

It was another week of upsets with underdogs winning six of the 13 pro football games this past weekend.

And Eagle-Tribune executive sports editor Bill Burt had a decent week, picking eight of 13 winners. In all, there were only 21 entries out of 322 that picked more than eight winners.

In fact, all 10 winners this week picked nine winners and had the Patriots scoring (first tiebreaker) 24 points or less. The Patriots only scored six points.

Each week a maximum of 10 winners are chosen.

Here are the Week 5 winners:

John Uzdavinis of Salem, N.H., Sandi Seglin of Methuen, Tammy Bioren of Haverhill, Steve Carroll of Topsfield, Peter Logan of North Andover, Richard Wentworth of Vero Beach, Fla., Hermann Wuerdemann of Atkinson, N.H., Richard Lane of Andover, John Armano of North Andover, and Jim Morrissey of Shelburne, Vt.
