Fast facts: Phil Rowley stepped down after going 70-36-2 in six seasons. Ashley MacDonald, a Billerica High graduate, has taken over as head coach. She was a Central assistant for four years. In just three years at University of New England (UNE ‘08), she scored a school record 249 points including 170 goals. ... New JV coach Kathleen Ragan played at Masconomet and was a co-captain at William Smith College last spring. ... Emily Frocione missed last year with a stress fracture she sustained during preseason.

Prior’s cousin, assistant Jordy Shoemaker, played at Andover and Notre Dame (ND ‘12). .... Leah Chittick is committed to play at UMass Amherst. ... Lauren Hiller made 203 saves and had a .533 save percentage last year.
