Tim Awiszus stroked a two-run triple with one out, then the next batter Alex Brickman hit the game-winning RBI single as Andover baseball walked off with a 5-4 victory over Billerica.
Five personal bests
Ali Attenasio, Hallie Milne, Maddie Nelson and Charlotte Merritt ran a personal best in the 4x100 (52.5) to lead Pentucket girls 91-54 over Amesbury.
Other personal bests were McKenna Kilian in the high jump (5-1) and 400 (1:01.5) Emma Marchant in the 2-mile (11:49.0) and Nelson in 200 (28.1).
Arm + bat = win
Kayla Riley dominated the Whittier Tech opener, striking out nine in a three-hitter against Northeast. Riley finished with more hits (four) than her opponents and also homered and drove in six. Whittier won 19-4.
Greater Lawrence received wins from Calvin Villa in the discus (100-8) and javelin (132-8) as well as Jonathan Infante in the long jump (19-1) and 400 (55.93). The Reggies boys won 98-65 over Shawsheen.
Jasmine Severino won the high jump (4-3), 100 meters (13.10) and 400 (1:09.03) but Greater Lawrence girls lost 85-50 to Shawsheen.
