Andover swimmers dominate MVC Meet

---- — As expected, it was all Andover in the MVC Division 1 swim meet. The Golden Warriors outscored runner-up Chelmsford 528-427.

Ashlee Korsberg posted impressive wins 200 and 500 freestyles. Her twin sister, Alexa, won the 100 butterfly. Deborah Daly took first in the diving. Other winners were Maeve Awiszus (100 backstroke) and Maggie D’Innocenzo (100 breaststroke).

Sarah Broderick was the top gun for Haverhill, touching the wall first in the 50 freestyle and grabbing the silver in the 100 free.

Central Catholic’s top performer was Jackie Russolillo, who finished third in the 100 butterfly.

Lennon, Gauvin shine for Rangers

Methuen took second in the MVC Division 2 Meet. Junior Kelly Lennon won the 200 IM and 500 freestyle and freshman Rachelle Gauvin captured the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke for the Rangers.

Senior Cyanna Roig took top honors in the diving. Junior Jack Gregg took thirds in two events and was on a winning relay. Freshman Jenna Albrecht helped the Rangers win the 200 medley relay and grabbed two fourths.

Junior Chrissy Deveaux won the 100 breaststroke and was third in the 200 freestyle to lead North Andover, which placed fifth.
