The annual Granite State Baseball Dinner is Nov. 17 at the Manchester Radisson Hotel.

Aviles dealt again
@Text5:Former Red Sox shortstop Mike Aviles is on the move again, being dealt by Toronto along with ex-Fisher Cat Yan Gomes to the Cleveland Indians for right-hander Esmil Rogers.
Aviles was acquired by the Blue Jays on Oct. 21 as part of the deal that allowed John Farrell to become the new Red Sox manager. Reliever David Carpenter was also sent from Toronto to Boston.
Rogers split time last season with Cleveland and Colorado@Text5:, going 3-3 with a 4.69 ERA in 67 combined games. The 27-year-old is 11-12 lifetime in the majors with a 5.95 ERA.
G@Text5:omes played 43 games with Toronto last season, his first in the majors. He hit .204 with four home runs and 13 RBIs.

At the Tyngsborough Trot 5K yesterday,@Text5: Bradford’s Pat Fullerton not only beat 222 other runners to the finish line, but he did it in the fastest time ever in the event’s history. The 24-year-old covered the distance in 15:57, shattering the record set by Salem, Mass.’s Nick DeSouza last year by 40 seconds.
