Mullin helps out in big win

MANCHESTER, N.H. – Senior Tim King netted a pair of goals and classmate Tucker Mullin of Andover handed out three assists to reach 100 career points as the Saint Anselm College men’s ice hockey team earned a 6-4 victory against the University of Southern Maine last night at Thomas F. Sullivan Arena.

The Hawks, who received a point from 10 different players, including six with multiple points, improve to 12-8-3 on the season and 8-7-2 in ECAC East play. The Huskies dip to 7-17-0, 4-13-0 ECAC East.

Mullin becomes the 22nd member of the Hawks’ 100-point club in his 93rd career game.

Saint Anselm scored first just 4:07 into the contest when senior John Hyslip of Andover sent a quick shot past USM goaltender John Hillegas from the bottom of the left circle.

Sophomore Joey Agliato sent a pass along the back boards for Mullin, who delivered a quick feed to Hyslip from behind the net.
