WHAT I LOVE MOST ABOUT CENTRAL CATHOLIC: Meeting new friends and how we have so much school spirit, our intense athletics

MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT THIS SEASON: Winning at the Boston Garden and celebrating on and off the court with my teamates!

KEY TO WINNING STATE TITLE: Playing the toughest defense as a team and fighting until the very last second of the game, like we have been doing

IN 10 YEARS I’LL BE ...: Living in California working for the news channel broadcasting sports or ESPN.

WHAT I LOVE MOST ABOUT CENTRAL CATHOLIC: My basketball team, my friends, and the athletic experience that Central has given me to opportunity.

MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT THIS SEASON: Laying on center court at the Boston Garden with Amanda Williams after we won. We have been playing basketball together since fifth grade, and we both came to Central wanting that moment and to experience it together was a dream come true.

KEY TO WINNING STATE TITLE: Rebounding, defense, being tough, and pushing the ball. I’m confident in us as a team if we do those things we are the best team in the state and can beat anyone.

COLLEEN FREY

POSITION: Guard

IN 10 YEARS I’ll Be ...: hopefully I’ll be doing something I really want to do and be happy

WHAT I LOVE THE MOST ABOUT CENTRAL CATHOLIC: All the opportunities this school has given me, especially allowing me to be a part of this varsity team and other activities like student council. We’re so lucky to have coaches, teachers and staff that care about us and want to help us succeed.

MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT THIS SEASON: Playing at the Boston Garden and winning the East Finals!!

KEY TO WINNING THE STATE TITLE: Teamwork and pushing each other in practice will definitely be the key to winning the title. We need to challenge each other every day to be the best we can be on and off the court. Success will only come through hard work and dedication to the sport.

CASEY MCLAUGHLIN

WHAT I LOVE MOST ABOUT CENTRAL CATHOLIC: All the great friends I have made that I would not have met if I did not come to Central, including all the girls on my team.

MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT THIS SEASON: Winning the Eastern Mass Finals at the Boston Garden with my amazing teammates.

KEY TO WINNING STATE TITLE: Mental toughness and out hustling our opponent on every possession.

POSITION: Guard

HEIGHT: 5-6

YEAR: Senior

FAMILY: Parents, Valerie and James Martin; brothers Noah and Lucas; sisters, Melissa and Taylor

FAVORITE SUBJECT: Science

FAVORITE JUNK FOOD: Kettle cooked BBQ chips

FAVORITE TV SHOW: The Real Housewives of New Jersey

IN 10 YEARS I’LL BE …: A registered nurse living in the south, and very much still on the basketball court.

WHAT I LOVE MOST ABOUT CENTRAL CATHOLIC: The faculty and staff are not just mentors but friends who are always willing to help students.

MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT THIS SEASON: Beating Andover in that playoff game. We haven’t been able to get past them.

KEY TO WINNING A STATE TITLE: Hard work and heart. Anything can happen in the playoffs and CCHS needs to be the more composed, confident team that is willing to leave everything on the court to win.

WHAT I LOVE MOST ABOUT CENTRAL CATHOLIC: The school spirit and the athletics

MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT THIS SEASON: Beating Braintree at the Garden in the state semi-finals

KEY TO WINNING STATE TITLE: We have to run and rebound. Just play our game and be the toughest team on the court. We have to fight as a team and finish this incredible journey.

HOMETOWN: Windham, N.H.

POSITION: Point guard/ Guard

HEIGHT: 5-7

YEAR: Junior

MY FAVORITE PART OF CENTRAL CATHOLIC: The close friendships that I’ve made with my soccer and basketball teammates.

In 10 years I’ll be: Out of college helping others. What I love most about Central Catholic: Is that its family oriented.
