Merrimack football signs boy with illness

---- — NORTH ANDOVER – As part of the Merrimack College Athletic Department’s ongoing partnership with Team IMPACT, the Merrimack football team welcomed its newest and youngest teammate to the squad on Friday.

The Warriors welcomed 10-year old Isaiah Robbins to their team recently with his own national signing day on the campus of Merrimack College. Isaiah was introduced to the team and signed his National Letter of Intent to play football for head coach Dan Curran.

The entire team was present as the press conference took place announcing Robbins’ joining the Warrior

The Salem, Mass. native is a very accomplished swimmer along with fisherman and his favorite sports are football and hockey. He will be a part of the Warriors football team during games along with practices all season long.

The football team is just one of a wide group of Merrimack Athletics teams that have forged unforgettable relationships with members of the Team IMPACT program.

Team IMPACT’s mission is to improve the quality of life for children facing life-threatening and chronic illnesses by establishing and expanding vibrant team-based support networks.
